An Experience is an ordered list of blocks, rendered top to bottom. There is no grid, no columns and no free positioning, which sounds like a limitation and is the reason a NearField page is never broken on a narrow phone.
A block in the list, and its menu
Feeding times
Hours
The handle on the left drags the block up and down the page. The three dots on the right open the menu.
Edit
Opens this block's fields: its words, its images, its settings.
Duplicate
Copies the block and its content in directly underneath.
Move up
One place up the page. Greyed out on the first block.
Move down
One place down. Greyed out on the last.
Delete
Removes the block. The rest of the Experience is untouched.
Adding a block
- 1
Press + Add Block
At the bottom of the left rail on a desktop; behind the Content blocks button on a phone, where the picker opens as a tall sheet.
- 2
Search, or browse the groups
The search box filters on both the name and the description, so typing “password” finds Guest Wi-Fi even though the block is not called that.

- 3
Pick a tile
The block is added at the bottom of the page and selected, with its fields open in the Edit tab.
- 4
Move it where it belongs
New blocks always land last. Drag it up rather than rebuilding the page around it.
How the picker is grouped
By the job a block does, not by what it is made of. Seven groups, in order:
| Group | Blocks | What lives there |
|---|---|---|
| Words & layout | 6 | Headings, text, accordions, promo boxes, buttons, dividers. |
| Photos & media | 8 | Images, galleries, video, audio, before-and-after, 3D models, social links, sponsors. |
| Visit info & one-tap help | 15 | Hours, schedules, maps, and most of the one-tap Actions. |
| Remember & return | 3 | Blocks that greet a returning visitor by what they did last time. |
| Questions & answers | 14 | Everything that asks the visitor something and keeps the answer. |
| Payments & giving | 3 | Donate, Pay, and the inline donation block. |
| Smart | 1 | Conditional: the show-and-hide block. |
Two small icons appear on the tiles. A lightning bolt marks an Action: one tap, one outcome. A sparkle marks a Memory block, whose answer is remembered and follows the visitor across your whole space. The full reference is every block at a glance.

Locked tiles
On a free account, every block up to Growth is yours to use while you build, marked Included while you build (or Included in your trial once it starts). On a paid plan, blocks above it stay in the picker with a badge naming the plan they need. They are not hidden, on purpose: knowing that Conditional exists is useful even on a plan that cannot use it yet. Tapping one closes the picker and opens the upgrade panel. View in AR and Book are locked everywhere below Enterprise.
Reordering
Four ways, all doing the same thing:
- Drag the handle at the left edge of a block in the list.
- Move up and Move down in the block's overflow menu: better than dragging when the list is long.
- Keyboard. Focus the drag handle, then use the arrow keys.
- Delete and re-add, which is occasionally the fastest route for a single block near the top.

Duplicating and deleting
The overflow menu on each block carries Edit, Duplicate, Move up, Move down and Delete, with Delete set apart because it does not ask twice. Duplicate copies the block and its content directly underneath, which is the quick way to build a run of similar image blocks or a second set of hours.

Deleting a block removes only that block. Nothing else on the page shifts other than closing the gap, and answers a visitor already gave through that block stay in your Audience: deleting the question does not delete the responses.
Blocks that live somewhere else
Your shared header and footer are also made of blocks, but they are edited in Account → Default Layout rather than in the builder, because they appear on every Experience that has the default layout switched on. Eight block types are allowed there: heading, text, image, button, divider, sponsor, social and promo.
Example
Cedar Hollow Zoo & Aquarium
The otter habitat page runs: image, heading, two paragraphs, feeding times, a Quick Choice asking which animal to visit next, then a donation block. When the keepers asked for the feeding times to come first, it was one drag, and because the times are their own block, updating them in winter does not touch a word of the story above.
Is there a limit on how many blocks one Experience can hold?
No fixed number is enforced, but a page that takes thirty seconds to scroll is not being read. If an Experience is getting long, that is usually a sign it should be two Experiences with two Markers.
Can I copy a block into a different Experience?
Not directly. Duplicate works within one Experience; across two, rebuild the block or ask the AI chat to add one like it.
I deleted a block by accident.
There is no undo for a deleted block. Rebuild it, or if the AI wrote it, ask the chat for it again.
Why did my new block appear at the bottom?
New blocks always append, so that adding one never disturbs what a visitor is already reading. Drag it up afterwards.
